Travis Knapp & Annie Sumi blend their artistic sensibilities into an engaging and dynamic folk experience. Weaving together sounds of acoustic guitar, banjo, piano, and lush vocal harmonies, this duo invites the audience to sing and experience the connection that music inspires.
Annie Sumi is an ethereal-folk artist with a unique ability to capture the subtleties of nature and spin them into melodies. Her latest release “Solastalgia” explores the feeling of homesickness in our environment, in our relationships, and in ourselves.

Travis Knapp carries his banjo around the country and the world, gathering people’s voices in rowdy singalongs and heartfelt sincerity. He is currently working on his 5th studio album, a folk EP with a string quartet.

The International Herb Symposium (IHS) was founded more than 25 years ago by Rosemary Gladstar. Ever since, this bi-annual event has been a place for herbalists from across the globe to exchange information about the healing power of plants. The Symposium holds a special place among herbal conferences, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and ways of working with medicinals.
This year’s event returns to an in-person format! Join us at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts from June 9-11, 2023 for the in-person event. Sign-up for all three days or simply get a day pass. If you can’t make it to Wheaton College, we also offer an online-only Symposium, which launches later in June 2023. All in-person attendees also get free 12-month access to the online Symposium.
