Nefesh Mountain is the place where bluegrass, old-time, and American roots music meet with Jewish heritage and tradition. Creators, band leaders and husband and wife team Doni Zasloff and Eric Lindberg are the heart of this eclectic offering, pioneering a new world of American culture which seamlessly blends their deep love for American and Western musical forms with their own cultural backgrounds as Jewish Americans. They have been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, and No Depression, among other outlets. http://www.nefeshmountain.com/
Annie Sumi is a Canadian folk artist creating sonic landscapes that breathe with the rhythms of the earth. Her music brings attention to the practice of listening by offering a space for whispering melodies to be amplified. With support from the Ontario Arts Council, her latest collection, “Solastalgia,” is set to release in October 2021. http://anniesumi.com/
Travis Knapp is a pianist-turned-banjo player living in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State (Haudenosaunee territory) whose most recent album is “One by One.” His live performances are usually filled with the voices of singing audience members. To counteract the sadness of not being able to gather to sing together during the past year, Travis has devoted much more of his time to growing medicinal and culinary herbs at his small farm. http://www.travisknapp.com/
